Hello :-) I am hoping someone can give me some insight on this.... I have a very short upper lip. It rests at about the top of my top teeth. Not only do I not like the way this makes my smile look, but it is also causing problems which chronic gum inflammation. I was doing some googling, and came across a procedure that can lengthen the upper lip up to 9 mm. However, now I am unable to find it again! It was a surgery that clipped a muscle running from the nose to the lip, as well as made an incision on the inside of the upper lip in order to bring it down some. I am wondering if there is a specific name for this surgery that might make it easier for me to research, and if anyone can offer any personal experience with this surgery.
Thank you so much for any information!
