im going to thailand this year on holiday & am thinking of getting cosmetic surgery while there. I have checked out a few clinics & am getting prices of around US$4500 for full face lift & upper&lower eyelids done.
Anyone think this is good? Im in UK where same surgery is averaging around £6000!
My brother lives in Bangkok & can get his Thai wife to check out the hospital for me.
Im just wondering about how long the recovery will be as i want to continue my holiday after surgery. I am going for 3 weeks. :?:

further to my previous post, I have now booked up with the Bumrungrad hospital in Bangkok for facelift, & both upper & lower eyelids done for cost of TB 162,000 which works out at about GB£2700. This is the biggest hospital in SE Asia & is run by american co.
Anyone think this is an OK price? :?:

Hello Angel,

To be honest that does sound a little high. I have been doing my own reseach and I have 4 countries in mind. India, Thailand, Costa Rica and possibly Bolivia.

If you check out youtube dot com and type in like plastic surgery. There was something on CNN or 20/20 that covered some people who got things done in other countries. There is one doctor that seems pretty good in Costa Rica, by the name of DaCruz or something like that and prices don't seem too high. India also seems to have good prices. There is one place that sounded good, it's Wockhardt Hospital and they seem have a good facility. I have also read about Bumrungrad and read about this female doctor by the name of like Tongtip, who is to be good. I was looking online, but their prices seem to be a bit high. Well atleast I thought for a hair transplant in a country like Thailand. I calculated to be from like $2 to $3 per graft, which is a good deal for the US, but not for a foreign country. The rhinoplasty job is also like 100,000 baht which is like $2,500. I know they probably do a good job, but I am sure there are other places that also do good work at lower prices. This place seems like the best place to get high class treatment in a country outside of North America and Europe & Australia.

Thailand is a much better option for plastic surgery mainly because the cost of plastic surgery is much less than other countries
