Electrolysis - Perineum and anus area

Hey, i'm a 25yr old male and I just had a few concerns about having electrolysis done on the perineum and anus area. I know these are incredibly sensitive areas and I was wondering if any permanent damage can result from treating these areas.

I am especially concerned about the perineum raphe (centerline) becoming more pronounced or disfigured (if that is even possible). Hope I could get some advice on this matter especially from those who have had treatment on this particular area. Thanks.

Electrolysis also doesn't penetrate deep enough to cause any damage to any organs. The only thing is affects is hair, along with a bit of temporary traume to the skin (since a probe is being inserted into each follicle).
