| i was just wondering if botox is a safe thing to do. I have seen photos of people who look HORRIBLE after getting them done...so i'm a little scared to even consider getting it. Any suggestions? |

botox is a neurotoxin that is used clinically in small quantities to treat strabismus and facial spasms and other neurological disorders characterized by abnormal muscle contractions; is also used by cosmetic surgeons to smooth frown lines temporarily
some of the common effects in botox
* Cough
* Flu-like symptoms, such as a fever and chills
* Back pain
* Runny or stuffy nose
* Dizziness
* Soreness at the injection site
* Weakness
* Dry mouth
* Drowsiness
* Bleeding at the injection site
* Infection
* Sore throat
* Anxiety
If BOTOX side effects occur, they’re usually temporary starting within the first week of injection, but may persist for several months. The kinds of side effects depend on where BOTOX Cosmetic is injected. |
